Typically plays longer into the less than favourable wind.  You will probably want to let out the shaft as you angle a drive over the hazard.  Things do not get easier when you face an approach shot into a green that just says NO!

Things do not get easier yet in our tough four hole finish.  The corner of 16 can be cut across the thick rough.  However, only under rare circumstances will you find this green in two.  Shorter hitters require good first and second shots to safely avoid ditch 140 yards from green.

An easy starting hole but it is important to keep tee shot on left half of fairway to have clear shot at green.  Ditch in front gobbles up mishits on approaches.
